Use this specimen letter to write to your MP about the proposed new laws:
Dear Sir,
I understand a consultation is taking place regarding the banning/licensing of air rifles and .50 calibre rifles.
By its very nature target shooting is a sport enjoyed by law abiding, polite citizens - predominantly mature men in their sixties.
I strongly urge you not to legislate against people who support the law and our Government, and try to address those who don't.
